Putin Just Realized He Will Never Win. The Dilemma of Modern Warfare - The Russian Dude
The wars in the past were way different than they are right now. There used to be clear goals and objectives and the rewards were immediate. Entire towns and cities were never destroyed to the ground in the process. But with the arrival of the Industrial Revolution, a huge transformation of the society happened. Patriotism and propaganda was created. And as a result, modern warfare became completely different from what it used to be. Wars became simply unwinnable.
