Free Legal Assistance for Houston Disabled July 19

The Mayor’s Office for People with Disabilities (MOPD) is offering a free legal advice clinic July 19, 5:30 pm – 8:30 pm, to people with disabilities. Volunteer attorneys will provide brief legal advice in a variety of areas: bankruptcy, consumer, family (divorce, custody, child support), guardianship, immigration law, IRS controversies, landlord/tenant and wills & probate. This event is sponsored by Houston Volunteer Lawyers Program and Lyondell/Bassell. Located at Metropolitan Multi-Service Center, 1475 W. Gray.
