9. I was recently with a woman who has Parksinsons

She got Covid before they had the vaccine and later was diagnosed with Covid. We talked about if she got the Parksinsons because of the covid and her doctor told her probably. I asked her if she was up to date on her vaccines and she said yes because the doctor told her if she got it again her Parksinsons would be much worst.

It’s is so sad that poltics have runnier family relationships and friendships. Even during the Bush years we were still able to get along but the TFA ruined our unity. I wonder if Putin tried to attack the US would the maga cult members pledge allegiance to Putin and not the US. I’d love a newsreporter to ask maga politicians that question also?

When I encounter a friend or acquaintance who tells me they refuse to get vaccinated for Covid, I usually say '"well you're already vaccinated." Other than perhaps a few home-schooled children, almost every American has received vaccinations (as a child) against something - measles, mumps, tetanus, chicken pox, polio, smallpox, or whatever. No children were allowed to attend public schools or most private schools without being vaccinated for those diseases. That's why this current madness over Covid vax makes no sense.

Covid is still killing people: the unvaxed, the frail elderly, and people with multiple health issues. The original, nastier strain is still out there, although the newer and generally less severe strains predominate.

It will take time, but eventually the memories of who she was before a combination of bad politics, worse religion, and medical half truths turned her into someone you barely recognized. Hang onto the good memories, those had to be who she really was.
