Hulu Live vs. Youtube TV
Looking to cut the cord in the next month or so but I don't want to buy a Sling TV as my Sony supports Hulu live and Youtube Tv. Which of the two would you recommend?

(31,967 posts)I watch mostly sports and like to record games so the unlimited DVR feature is great. I switched to YouTube from Hulu because Hulu streaming was unreliable though that was several years ago. YouTube has been having issues with NBC Universal over licensing which put the entire NBC line-up in jeopardyLocal Comcast sports (Giants, Warriors), all NBC stations, MSNBC plus a handful of others. 11th hour deal worked out just last week but dont know for how long. Sticking with YouTube on a monthly basis should the NBC deal fall through. Aside from that, the service is great, carries tons of sports, and works very intuitively IMO. Pretty sure you need a Google account too.
On edit: forgot to add that you can customize your channel guide as well. This is a neat feature that allows you to hide channels youd never watch or networks you loathe.
