The Greatest Night in Pop Documentary on Netflix
Definitely recommend this one if you were musically aware in the 1980s. It's an excellent documentary about the We Are the World recording session and it is highly entertaining. After watching it it's amazing what they were able to accomplish in ONE night with all those huge egos in ONE room. Big thumbs up on this one!

(5,192 posts)So much great stuff on that video. I'm a Dylan fan from back in the day, and it was so uncomfortable to see him so out of his element with all those people.

(36,031 posts)My son was born in 1970 and he recognized everyone also. Anyone younger might need a little help, but it's still a good story nonetheless. The best way to watch this special is with a group of some younger and some older friends (or family members).
Many of us can still remember the lyrics to "We Are The World."

(10,355 posts)Lionel Ritchie deserved an award for keeping all those stars in line and I loved his comment about Merle Haggard walking out. The affection and respect shown by the artists toward each other was palpable.
