Talk about a hidden gem. Wow. What an excellently crafted movie. The
emotional tension carried right through to the end. I recommend this
highly. The Japanese know how to hide feelings. The back and forth in
time worked well at building the backstory and tension. Loved the
ending.

There are tons of great movies out there that fly under the radar. I search them out and try to feature them on my movie blog.

Thank you so much for your recommendation and review. I thought this movie was touching and beautiful, it was very Japanese. The relationship between Kenzaburo and Toshi was very realistic. I always love movies about how the characters find healing in the wake of loss.

Thanks again for telling us about this beautiful movie.
