if you enjoy Sarah Lancashire’s work. She is dynamite in both series, especially Happy Valley where she plays a cop and gives a performance I will never forget.

Numerous subplots and situations that rang totally false. The shifting between time frames and confusing main plot kept me from suspending my disbelief throughout all the commotion. Many of the scenes were poorly directed. The actors give it their all, but their talents were generally wasted. Too far fetched to be believable.

Some of the subplots and situations were not totally credible. And it was a bit confusing at times. But it's one of those shows where you just go with it and enjoy it. You can't overthink it. I'd probably give it a 3 out of 5 stars.

of course such shows will strain credulity in the quest for entertainment but I felt that so much of it was ridiculous

did Chernobyl. Rupert Murdoch's daughter is one of the founders. She's the most talented child he has IMO and she's not a conservative like her Dad.

I watched the whole series. Worth watching if you like this kind of espionage thriller with interesting work/life balance tensions. I've been a fan of Ben Wishaw since Perfume: The Story of a Murderer (2006), an underappreciated film that manages to do justice to a brilliant novel.

Never heard of the Perfume film, really want to see it now. I first became a fan of Whishaw in London Spy and then A Very English Scandal, both of which I rec.

She gives a performance for the ages. A fantastic show created and written by Sally Wainwright who also created and wrote Last Tango in Halifax. A very talented woman. Both series share the same locations.
