Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa on Netflix.

We recently watched this wonderful documentary about a Sherpa woman who has climbed to the summit of Mt Everest 10 times! Her personal story and the almost insurmountable obstacles she had to overcome, not only in mountaineering, but in her personal life, was beautiful, moving and incredibly inspiring. Highly recommended.

I'm pretty turned off by the recent exploits of a lot of summiteers, but I have utmost respect for the Sherpas, and they don't get the respect they deserve.

she was accompanied by only sherpas. Give it a try. I think you’ll love it.

and could not find it. Got sidetracked by "Messiah" which is mesmerizing.
