Saving Sirga - for lion lovers

I've been streaming "Saving Sirga: Journey into the Heart of a Lion" on Tubitv. It's free, with the occasional commercial, and quite wonderful. You do see her hunt, so there are animals getting killed (for sensitive viewers).

Especially as Sirga grew.. and grew! It brought up issues of loneliness. Is it fair to be the only family to an animal and then release her as that becomes too expensive/difficult.

Perhaps he hoped that once she was able to kill on her own that she could be self sufficient. The alternative would have been to euthanize her as a cub.
