Black Summer -- Netflix zombie series

Started watching episode 1 tonight (Easter tradition) and got sucked in. Really liked it. My son, not a huge zombie fan, really likes it, too.

It does what Fear the Walking Dead said it would do--explore the beginning of the apocalypse. Characters are solid. Good exploration of the different ways humans handle this situation.

Recommended.

I like the show. But why do people keep speaking English to the Korean lady? Why does she keep saying things in Korean? Obviously no one has any idea what she is saying. Even the people who do the captions have no idea what she’s saying. There are no captions for her in Korean or in any other language.

Hispanic guy gets the gist of what she's saying.

I kind of like it. People are losing their damn minds and doing the best they can.

So far, so good, although I've only seen a few. I'll watch some more tonight before I go to sleep.

I've seen and read a shit ton of zombie stuff. This does a nice job. I have 2 more episodes but have to call it a night.

I am enjoying it. I got to the "Dog" part of the episode and was afraid to watch so I turned-off for the night. Sweet dreams for me, LOL.

The denouement was pushing my verisimilitude. But it sets up an AWESOME season 2 in which we follow some different people through the same day(s).

Glad I watched it. It was nicely done.
