Just celebrated my 4th year of sobriety!

On Friday. I really don't keep track of it, but my wife reminded me that it's been four years. It's pretty easy to remember actually: 9/9/18.

I got “lucky” and was experiencing an extended period of unemployment when I got tired of smoking. I think if I had anything else to do besides sit at home or take long walks, I wouldn’t have quit successfully at that time.

What a wonderful event to acknowledge and to celebrate, bif!

As an aside, I had 43 years as of yesterday. I figure if it can work for *me* it can work for anybody. Welcome to the "September Sobriety Society"!

And to do it through the worst part of trump rule. You are one strong willed person. Congrats and stay at it. And WHEN it’s time to celebrate the total downfall of trump, do it without alcohol and complete conscience of the greatest day in our history.
Kudos to you and those that love you.

My favorite service job in three AA groups (so far) has been to order the coins for anniversaries. And you are part of our Group here, so here's a coin for you - you've earned it! Kudos!
