Did Dr. give you prescription strength potassium?

That should bring it up into normal range to begin.

4. Lisonopril is an ACE inhibitor and does not make your K+ too low. Just the opposite, it can make

I was pretty surprised to find that potassium balance can be that important and that too much is as dangerous as it is.

9. Had low K during covid from drinking too much water

Raised with diet, avocado, cantaloupe, potatoes, greens, and juices, tart cherry, v8 and yerba mate. Replaced coffee with the mate which has high dose of K. In process of this most of my long covid symptoms rapidly disappeared along with the low K problems as soon as I had reached higher levels. Low K is quite common.
