(121,513 posts)2. I've been walking 4-5 miles a day since last summer
to help with weight loss (which it did, considerably). I don't know about all the benefits described in the video (I'm no smarter and my eyesight is still lousy), but besides the weight loss I'd had a lot of back and knee trouble for years and now that's all pretty much gone. It's also nice to spend time outside, even just walking around the neighborhood.

I walk every day, and my bad is I can't complete my goal of 10000 steps.
I'm using my phone to measure step count. I want to know on what basis mobile or application provides the information?
