Over the past few days I have been feeling depressed. I feel this malaise and this languishing. Got this eye headache that's been hurting a couple of days now. It's not severe it just hurts gives me shock like pain in my eye and forehead on my right side.
After my 2nd moderna shot I started feeling tired, that tiredness seemed to be lifting. Until this depression hit me. Having dark thoughts and the motivation is sapped and my energy low .even my teeth hurt with a dull ache. Yesterday was listening to pink floyd and burst into tears not knowing why.
I dunno if this has to do with the shot or it's some other cause.
Either way it sucks.

Treat yourself well, and try to not send yourself negative messages if you can avoid it. Sounds like you're thinking too much. That's almost never good.
Sometimes finding the best possible distraction so you don't have to listen to your brains chatter is the best avenue in my experience. Instead of just some Floyd, maybe a movie you've been wanting to see? Something engrossing.
This too shall pass my friend

(1,364 posts)I think we are all experiencing PTSD. Please talk to a professional, life can be tough sometimes - but life is also beautiful. I am thinking of you.

I have a counselor a therapist and a psychiatrist I communicate with regularly and the program has zoom meetings I attend twice a week.
I miss going to program in person.

(4,996 posts)It included fatigue and depression for a couple of weeks. Had a lot of trouble sleeping which may have contributed to the fatigue and depression. Not fun. Still better than Covid. But if it persists than you should probably get yourself checked out. I have also been noticing, hearing, and reading about people simply hitting the wall with dealing with all the social problems with Covid 19 including quarantine, anti-maskers, fear of the new strains, and simply coping with the new "normal". Ya, I also had a lot of near tear moments also. Crap this is no fun. Hang in there.

(12,952 posts)Could it still be affecting me? I hope not. I still have the headache, and now I feel nausea along with the depression. Hoping pepto bismol stops it. I hate nausea not only because it feels awful, I have emetophobia.
