Related: About this forumDoes anyone have a recommendation for music/meditation sites for anxiety
Not podcasts, but music only?
I have been listening to and playing Steven Halpern CDs, the non vocal music, that has been helpful

Meditation, especially, and music help mental health. Woo does not. This is woo:

devoted to that kind of music. I think it's #68.

Every human brain is different.
Alpha brainwaves are strongest during REM dream states and meditation (with theta joining it in deepest meditation states).
The main alpha frequency a brain settles into during meditation varies from person to person and from time to time and second to second.
So a frequency, or even two, is not some kind of magic. (No I did not watch the video and won't unless somebody makes a good pitch (pun intended).)

Furthermore, 432 Hz resonates with 8 Hz (the Schumann Resonance), the documented fundamental electromagnetic beat of Earth. It just /feels/ better.

The more radical among middle A haters insist that the true frequency should be 528 Hz because its a digital bio-holographic precipitation crystallization [and] miraculous manifestation of diving frequency vibrations. I have no idea what that means.
Heres where the conspiracy comes in. There is allegedly something sinister and evil about 440 Hz. It is said that the Rockefeller Foundation had an interest in making sure the United States adopted the 440 Hz standard in 1935 as part of a war on consciousness leading to musical cult control.

I've seen the term "resonates with 8 Hz" at another site on the topic. It is bogus and does not mean what the writer thinks it means, an indication of woo right off the bat. The term they are looking for is "consonant".
There are three so-called perfect consonances (psychoacoustics and musicology): 1:2, 2:3, 3:4. We've shown it is not unison (1:2 and powers up from that).
2:3 would be doubles of 12 (three halves) or 5 1/3 (two thirds of 8). So that would the series 12, 24, 48, 96, 192, 384, 768, or the series 5.33, 10.66, 21.33, 42.66, 85.33, 170.66, 341.33, 682.66.
3:4 would be the series 6 (three quarters of 8), 12, 24, ... 384, 768, or the series 10.66 (four thirds of 8), 21.33, ... 341.33, 682.66.
None of those series comes close to perfect consonance with 8.
432 / 8 = 58. Okay, so? The 58th harmonic of a fundamental frequency is very very weak.
440 / 8 = 59th harmonic. About as strong as the 58th. So then, why is 58 favoured over 59? Or 60? 60 is a nice number. Why not 60? (448 Hz)
So this woo flunks psychoacoustics and musicology.
But, it gets worse.
Schumann resonances are the principal background in the part of the electromagnetic spectrum[2] from 3 Hz through 60 Hz,[3] and appear as distinct peaks at extremely low frequencies (ELF) around 7.83 Hz (fundamental), 14.3, 20.8, 27.3 and 33.8 Hz.[4]
It's not even 8. But 8 is more attractive than 7.83. And easier for woo enthusiasts to seize on than an actual fact.
Woo is a waste of time, though it is amusing to see what woo enthusiasts get up to and how they contort themselves to justify their woo over other woo.
Woo keeps people who need help away from real help.
Folks, apply facts, analysis, and logic. Please don't push woo.
