My therapist gave me an assignment to go out and take a hike this week and I just realized that it's going to start snowing tomorrow so I am grabbing a sandwich and heading out into the wild today.... yay!
It's 36 degrees out there and I strapped on my high tops and layered up!
I'm reworking my entire website so that I can showcase my crafts.. and I'm seeking inspiration. Let's see what the wind whispers...

I ONLY use wood found while on walks, no cutting of trees, same with feathers. I don't use plastic or glue. Only crystal or glass beads, and for adhesive I use pitch & beeswax. All sourced here in Tahoe.

(14,312 posts)Starting to try and do more freehand. I got some awesome Acrylic paint pens and they reall made it easier to do the detail!

(14,312 posts)I've only just started traveling into the SW and it's just so magical. Coming from the high sierras, it's quite a change!

(14,312 posts)So I ended up going up fallen leaf Lake road which is near Lake Tahoe but inland a little. It was 38°. I didn't spend much time walking just enough to get down to the water and take few shots...
