3am... My son just woke me from a nightmare that

I couldn't get myself out of 😭

He heard me trying to scream in my sleep over and over...

All I can remember was that I was trying to tell people that something was wrong, and nobody believed me! I kept saying that I needed help and nobody heard...

I clung to him and sobbed. My shirt was cold with sweat. I couldn't swim to the surface of consciousness...thank God he had his ' daddy' ears 1on listening for the baby...
Trauma sucks.

I am so sorry, but this is not a nightmare. That is the reality of today.

So glad you have someone to be there for you. Plenty do not.

I went through a period about 4 years ago when my nightmares happened almost every night. I got to the point where I’d rather be awake and exhausted than asleep and terrified.

Peace and sleep!

I’ve had some intense ones straight out of a body-horror novel. Medication helped. So glad you had someone there to help pull you out of yours. May the healing continue.

Guess the Full Moon has somethng to do with all of it. In one, my ex husband of 20 years ago was trying to come inside my house and I told him no and he had a fucking PRIEST with him who said he could take whatever he wanted...

Another one someone tried to steal my car (not my current one, but...ok) and I hung onto the door and he did donuts until i flew off and got run over

and this morning was zombie hoardes, and whoever was driving the truck was going tooooo s l o w....

Suffice it to say there wasn't much good rest all night.
