I was given a TENS unit for the under-the-jaw pain I'm reporting

To this fucking dentist. The one i tried to make a seperate appmnt for for a consult and they called the dentist. Only half of the crowns were laid and the holidays will make the lab even later getting done. I want to get this done and get a referral and i don't gaf if they find out i did.

are you supposed to use a TENS unit under the jaw? I don't get that at all. I've used one on my back and they're big and not always helpful.
