The first thing my therapist asked me was 'How is the kitten doing?'
I admit that made me smile.
He also told me I've been on his mind, a lot, wondering how I was reacting to the incoming cabinet. I told him I'm not really watching the news, but the little I've seen has proven my point about the disaster ahead of us.
Other than that, it was a smooth session. He said he can see a big change in my coping skills and said I made a good decision to host Christmas Eve dinner, even though I'm unenthusiastic about it.
I had two stops to make, afterwards. One to Aldi and one to the post office. As soon as I left Aldi, the icy precipitation, that wasn't supposed to arrive until after noon, started falling. Fortunately both places are very close to my house and I have nowhere else to go until after Christmas.

Now that you are home for the duration, you can relax more. Good that the weather waited until you were nearly done with your errands.
