I very much want to thank Emile for covering while I was away.
I am glad to be back.

Later this morning, I will be making scrambled tofu with spinach, peppers, onions and cherry tomatoes and ǰa pot of hot tea to drink.

Black coffee now ☕. Later sausage and cheese omelette.

I tried to sleep in, but woke up early anyways. Today the weather is changing. Right now the temperature is 28 degrees, but as the day progresses it's supposed to get down to minus 6, with dangerously cold wind chills as low as 25 below. Snow supposed to start around 11 am, with accumulations between 4 to 6 inches. This will be heading east out of Indiana into Ohio, so I expect this front will effect you too Irisblue.

I was whining obnoxiously that it was 47 degrees at the bus stop yesterday morning… Grew up in eastern Iowa so I have no idea how I’ve become such a wuss.

Breakfast today was lazy—triple berry granola with almond milk. I’m kicking myself because irisblue’s tofu scrambler would have set me off and running to the kitchen for same if I hadn’t just finished my cereal. Will have to ponder for something more respectable for dinner. Maybe wild rice soup or Hasselback potatoes with morel gravy? *off to ponder*

10. The snow finally arrived on my side of town. In 20 minutes, the grass is now covered

I hope you got your fire wood in.

11. I did get the wood in. It's still snowing here,

and getting colder. Now they're saying the wind chill temperature could feel like 30 below.

Sautéed onion and Italian pepper, Beyond sausage, on pita bread. A sprinkling of pecorino Romano.

Very grateful to Emile for keeping the thread going. What a weather report for you and Irisblue! I think we are getting rainy and blowing winds, too.

6. The local weather forecast was wrong. It

was supposed to start snowing at 11 am, but it started a little after 9 am. Yuck, I need to bring in a couple wheelbarrow's of firewood before it gets any worse.
