Ducky was confused by cooked versus raw carrots at first, Now he knows right away to gulp the cooked ones down and run with the raw to lie down and crunch.
TJ is going to work shifts tonight and tomorrow night, so it's just me and the Duckster tonight.

Going to my in-laws for a traditional Christmas Eve dinner along with 12 other folks. There will be fried haddock, parsley potatoes, cheese and sauerkraut pierogies, green bean almondine, cole slaw, cucumber salad and a great variety of desserts. I made the cream of mushroom soup which begins the meal. Happy holidays to all my fellow DUers! Cheers!🥂

(76,182 posts)Sounds like an absolutely lovely tradition.
My maternal ancestors were from Poland, but apparently did not practice this.
Enjoy!
Merry Christmas to you and your lovely family!'

(76,182 posts)Ha ha - we're on the same wavelength. I had my salmon for lunch, done in the air fryer with garlic and lemon pepper, with a side of mac n cheese and fresh pan steamed green beans.
Enjoy!
Merry Christmas to all who celebrate.

(7,403 posts)tonight it will be chicken cordon bleu and baked potatoes, with garlic bread. Tomorrow, our Christmas dinner will be my homemade spaghetti with my all day simmering sauce. Not very Christmasy, but hea... it's red! (LOL)
