What's for Dinner, Wed., March 11, 2026

Szechuan Ginger Wrap from my Wrap it Up cookbook by Amy Cotler. I always note/rate the recipe in my cookbook, and I see I last made this in 2013. It has scallions and yellow bell pepper, a little sriracha mixed into the hoisin sauce, and finely chopped Napa. It's going on a spinach wrap. Top with cilantro before rolling up the wrap.

A red tip lettuce salad with cherry tomatoes, red onion, green pepper, and cucumber. Toasted pumpkin seeds. Caesar dressing.

Kombucha: unflavored

Dessert: Klondike vanilla bar.

I bought a tenderloin to bring to our friends’ home in the mountains near Boquette. It’s been marinating since last night so it’ll be ready for their grill. We’re also grilling some potatoes and asparagus. Our hostess has homemade mango gelato for dessert.

It’s much cooler in Panama’s mountains than at the beach!
