I attached an LED strip

to the back of my wall mount TV yesterday. The backlighting looks very cool and materials only cost about $30. My wife likes it a lot.

Oh, BTW, go out and buy one of the Phillips bulb and pry off one of the orange color lenses (they pop right back on).

Then turn on the light, just for kicks!

It's about the same color temp as tungsten, though it does have a yellow tinge. Eight bucks at Amazon. Free shipping, of course.

I bought several strips of different colors, mostly blue and uv, for my salt water coral tank.

They worked pretty well, but the salt environment was tough on them.
