3. Dogwood trees are first to bloom

in Michigan. Have never seen one that large.

4. Dogwoods nowhere near blooming here in southern MD; other flowering trees are doing so.

6. The cherry blossoms are peaking right now here in North Georgia. Red Bud trees

are in full bloom as are the dreadful Bradford pears. Japanese magnolia are almost finished. My service berry tree hasn't bloomed yet, but will soon. In Appalachia, it's called "sarvis." Dogwoods will be coming next. Can't believe it is just mid-March.
