(27,358 posts)7. The 7 kittens I've adopted out all went to family, friends or friend's family
Little Freya went to my niece and she comes to visit. I saw Moon and Space Boy at Thanksgiving. Cinder and Smoke live in Chicago but their mom sends me photos.
Carys was supposed to be adopted out but the people had a change of mind. She was SO hard to socialize, that was probably for the best. Now that she's bonded with me, I hope she will start feeling comfortable around other humans.

(4,521 posts)8. You are amazing. I'm so glad you get to see them on occasion.
I'm sure it feels good just knowing they've grown to be so loving and healthy. You are special, as are all animal rescuers.
My daughter took in a stray a few months ago. "Honey" was hurt and needed stitches. The kitty now runs the house lol.
