Something weird going on with the ferals

Yesterday just Scooter and Spooky were waiting for me. When I took out the afternoon food, all of the bowls were empty. This morning there was still an untouched bowl of yesterday afternoons food and only Scooter was there.

I went out again to check and it's obvious that none of the other ferals have been by, this morning. I will keep checking, throughout the day, and I activated the back yard Blink camera so I can catch any activity.

Needless to say, I'm a bit worried. This is one of the few times I wish there was some snow on the ground so I could look for paw prints.

2. Years ago I was working midnights at a gas station.

Every night there were a bunch of feral cats hanging around the dumpster. Then one night they were all gone.
Later that night I saw a cop car sitting in the parking lot. I went out and asked if everything was ok. He told me he just saw the biggest coyote he had ever seen back by the dumpster. They must have freaked out because I didn't see any more cats for a month.
Hope they are ok and just being safe.

This was in the middle of a pretty large town.
