Related: About this forumAnd Arthur has already escaped the cone
I finally found it behind the couch. Then I chased him around the house, for about 5 minutes, before I could get it back on. I know he's miserable but, hopefully, stopping him from licking will help the swelling and redness subside.
This weekend is going to feel like it is a month long.

(38,610 posts)1. Is it a see-thru cone?
We had the old opaque cones & upgraded to the see-thru cones & things went much better!

He seems to be settling in a little better. Make that a tiny bit better.
Hopefully he won't have to wear it for long, after the procedure.

(38,610 posts)4. My cat had anal sac issues almost once a year.
We added canned pumpkin to her diet along with 1/4 teaspoon of Mirolax every day & never had that issue again.
Good luck with your kitty!
