I hope you feel good about that. I just made myself cry but my point was to make you feel good. You know you made her life so much better.

7. I did cry, but a good kind of cry.

I'm trying to feel better but I woke up to an attack, on Instagram, from my nephew's wife. I had restricted her on FB for her really passive/aggressive vegan rants and 'omnivore shaming'. Not to mention her habit of hijacking posts to 'spread the word' about veganism. She's a bit of a radical.

Then she started in on me with the kittens, pretty much blaming me for their deaths. Not what I wanted to see, this morning. Other people came to my defense but she didn't let up. She's now restricted and I'm tempted to send this comment to her:

'Yes, you have uncovered my true identity and my sinister plot. I am the Cruella Deville of the cat world. My goal is to create a magnificent cape of kitten pelts, but they are small, so I need many.

The only reason I won't send it is that she wouldn't get the inappropriate dark, shaming humor. I never called her out when she brought a known dangerous foster dog into the house that then proceeded to kill one of her cats, one of her dogs, and severely wound 2 others. I knew she was in emotional pain so I wasn't going to upset her even more. Apparently I'm not allowed the same respect when a plague of fleas takes out kittens that I tried so hard to save.

10. I have not been around much since the site changed

because I have a broken hand and had a huge cast for several months. Dog bite...yes I know how it feels when you are trying to help a sad case of abuse and others just think the answer is just to put them down. Broke it good, ended my music career just like that yet I would not stop what I did. I would do it differently but too late now. Also lucky is that I retired from the symphony before this and was just going to entertain myself with my other old, retired pals. What I did was right for this poor dog, I will survive this. If he is not helped he will not.

We do what our hearts tell is is right.

I finally let a few people go after this last episode. We are all lucky we are not treated the way this poor boy was and your kitties are so very lucky. Let her comments go, let them fly away. Look out your window and picture them all scruffy and dirty and sickly and let her go as you see how they actually are.

People like her are certainly around but they have no right to make you feel bad about saving the lives of others.

my nephew’s wife. We can’t escape them, but we can ignore them. You know she is wrong on so many levels. Farewell, sweet Tegan. Hoping you meet up with Pumpkin Pie, Smokey Joe, India, Melanie, Meg, Rebecca. So many precious cats that made my life better.
