Related: About this forumFederal Cannabis Arrests Jump 25% Under Biden - LA Weekly
Lots of people talking about this article about federal marijuana arrests jumping under Biden. It's bad no matter what, marijuana should be legal. But there's something very fishy about these numbers, and I suspect they're giving a false impression.

States adjacent to "legal" States set up border patrols and sometimes even checkpoints to intercept the legally purchased weed that comes into their territory. These States are pretty "gung-ho" about nabbing border-crossers for possession. It's pretty easy-pickings for the cops. And LEOs love to display their arrest numbers to show they are doing a heckuva job and justify their pay.
I wonder if the escalation has to do with the increase in legal States bordering illegal States and the subsequent increase in "pot tourism"? I think most pot tourists are going to bring home a little something.
