Phoenix Tears

Does anyone here have any experience or stories about trying phoenix tears? I am on a medical marijuana program and have found someone who is offering me this concentrated cannabis oil, and I am pretty excited to have finally found it!! I hope to start juicing the leaves soon too.

I am convinced that my cancer symptoms are being kept in check now by edibles, gelcaps and tinctures, yet the phoenix tears are much more concentrated, and there are stories of it actually curing cancer.

I will keep you all informed how I am doing, my cancer is in my intestines, so opiates are out of the question... this is the only way for me

I don't have any experience with this but this concentrate is essentially super grade sativex, it seems to me.

If you'd like to let us know how you're doing, tho - that would be great.

2. I'm hoping it doesn't cost

a lot--if it does I think I'm going to have to attempt to make it myself somewhere. The only drawback is the smell--not something I can just do anywhere. I think I will wait till I run out of my pills which will be in a month or so, then start with this new stuff.

It would be great to see if anyone else posts here with experiences taking this concentrated oil. I just wanted to start a thread here about this aspect of cannabis and see what happens. Cancer is too common these days, and more people should be talking about this herbal treatment!

Cannabis Science Research Co. (Robert Melamedes) promotes cancer-curing cannabis claims - he's a biology prof who has studied cannabis for a while.

He's posted pictures of people with skin cancer - but these aren't controlled, scientific studies - which we really need more of here b/c of the increasing number of studies that have shown excellent benefits for people with cancers of various types and with the pain asso. with some types of cancer treatment, even.

I do hope you'll share - b/c we're all in this together, with our own unique stories to tell.

4. Many of the growers...

...around this neck of the woods are turning entire crops into 'oil' as per their federal license to grow. Not having to conceal their grow rooms or processing equipment takes away the fear of discovery that limited its use. One guy I've heard of, grows his plants straight up and then mashes pounds of beautiful buds (like the Rick Simpson method) into 'oil' which is, apparently a one toker.

5. I've never had to try it, but for nine years or so, ever since I first learned about

Rick Simpson, I've said that if I ever got sick that would the the FIRST thing I'd try instead of the last. I have shared Run From the Cure with everyone I love or care about, including DU, and I will continue to do so as long as I'm still alive to do it. Please do try it, it seems to be the best shot at a real cure.

and also swore that I would try this if I got sick. But I have learned that the world changes after you get ill. I became dependent on friends--I was lucky to be able to get herb through the grapevine--and that MD passed a medical marijuana law right as I was beginning my chemo. So I had the energy to make cannabutter.

Since this oil shrinks tumors on epithelial tissue and my tumors were on my intestines (whole GI tract is epithelial tissue) I knew that I had to eat a lot of this oil. But actual phoenix tears takes a lot of plant material--including leaves--to make. I felt lucky to get pot at all. I got strong weed but did not know what kind or how it was grown. So I did my best with what I had.

I still think the cannabutter helped a lot--I did not take the pain meds nor the prescription for nausea they gave me. Smoking helped on the rough days, and was (and is) the best for headaches. I have a kind of cancer that is very hard to treat conventionally, it is really only manageable, so I think this herb is one that can extend my life.

Having access to a lot of plant material is necessary, both for juicing the leaves, and for the concentrated oil. In these transitionary times, there are states still in prohibition, and others in various stages of legalization. But it gets tricky when you are renting, and when you are in a community of people with different ideologies and around kids, when not everyone is up to speed about what is going on. I can tell you, it has and continues to be a real trip to be ill and have to socially navigate these times.

8. I just finished the first 30 days

on the concentrated oil. The Rick Simpson protocol calls for oil made from 2 pounds of whole plant material in 90 days, and I am receiving it in 3 parts. I am already feeling more energy, less pain and more hope!

for asking, I think this is really helping me. I will be done with the 90 day protocol end of February, and will get checked out by my physician too. I have found that I prefer more indica in my formula because it being such a high concentration, I want it to be mellow. I have been taking the oil gelcaps every other day, and on my days off I feel extremely well rested and have good digestion.

I am feeling pretty well, this is such a trip to be doing this, I feel really fortunate. I hope that this, at the very least, extends my life and I don't have to go through another round of chemo.

I also hope that more people inquire about phoenix tears, especially in states where cannabis is now legal, so it can be prepared in a professional way and so it can be studied. This is definitely a powerful and effective medicine with no negative residual effects.

12. I'm crying again!

So glad to hear this, Felix. Like I said I wish I could post a billion threads all over DU to get people to look into this for their friends and family.

I have a friend suffering with RSD (Reflex Sympathetic Dystrophy Syndrome) in her foot and she all but gave up a year ago. She smoked a lot of cannabis but that wasn't enough to help her sleep or get through the pain without powerful medications. Now she is eating some cookies with cannabis oil in them and she stopped smoking it and it is already helped her to cut back on the powerful pain meds she was on. Now she is looking into the stronger oil in hopes to get off the pain meds all together. We are in Florida so the cannabis is available all over but the risk of jail is still there

13. Well I finished the regiment

and am feeling pretty good. I will go back to a maintenance dose now. My digestion is really good and pain level is noticeably relieved. I don't feel cured, but I feel like this regiment beat back the progression of growth. It actually took me over 90 days to finish my concentrated dose, but I stuck to it.

I have Mantle Cell Lymphoma, which responds to initial chemo but then has to be treated periodically with more chemos because it relapses. I went through the initial chemo (immuno therapy) 2 years ago and planned then to turn to this herb to stay comfortable--which so far (knock on wood!!) it is doing a good job of that.

My experience of taking this concentrated cannabis oil is that it is best to plan when to take the oil, for me the psychoactive effects came on strong from 2-6 hours later and could last from 4-5 hours depending upon what I ate I suppose, or perhaps the oil gelcaps varied just a bit.

What I did was to take them every other day to start with and then build up my tolerance by taking them every day in the evenings. I would run my errands on my times off the pills--noticing from the start that I was feeling much less pain and that my head was very clear.

Most of the people here know that when the effects of cannabis wear off there is no residue, no negative after effects. I feel really good, at least today--and am grateful for having met someone wiling to make this oil for me.

I am living a simple life, next week I will see if I can go on Social Security. I am thinking ahead--and if I can get a license to make this oil, I am going to research this further and learn to make it for other people. I hope to find a tiny plot of land and a cool community to live in so I can do this I would love to give back what I have been given.

(and saddened) that no one else has shared their experience with this oil here. It is amazing to me, given all the people out there truly suffering.

Yes that whole syringe is expensive, I bought mine in smaller amounts and that helped. There has to be a cheaper way!

This is why I want to learn to make it myself, to pass on the knowledge to others and to help people out who are in a lot of pain. The oil is a very good delivery system.

If the universe extends my life and I am given the opportunity to find a place to grow and make this, I will feel really good to pass it on to others. If anyone has any ideas, feel free to PM me

I guess I am sad that this concentrated oil hasn't been made available to more people. So many people are suffering. I hope that the stigma of cannabis fades as it becomes more legal and mainstream.

18. phoenix tears

hello, my husband has a glyoblastoma lV. he was diagnosed 4.5 years ago - had radiation, chemo 2 surgerys. it came back a 3rd time tiny and stayed put sometimes shrinking, for 3 years. this jan. it moved and grew substantially. we did radiation for 18 days in feb but also started the tears. he is wobbly on his feet. incontinence during sleep, and has hallucinations. - not sure what is due to tumor and what is tears. We will not know the effect on the tumor until his next MRI at the end of May and I will let everyone know then. He is also continuing Avastin via IV once a month. His behavior is scary to me but if in the end the tumor is gone it will be worth it. The only problem that I have is being able to pay for it. I will run out by the end of April and cannot afford more and I do not live in a State where it is legal so it is also very very hard to get. hopefully the 2 months worth will have helped. time will tell
