...that Zimmerman's murder of Trayvon Martin counts as a Defensive Gun Use in their statistics, and that they consider ME as a supporter of Concealed Carry.

(4,762 posts)last night's killings in Kalamazoo.
CCWs all over the place in Michigan, yet a middle aged white guy with a likely legal gun goes off his viagra and kills 7 innocent people in three locations before the cops -- yeah the cops, not some hero with a pocket cannon -- finally stopped him.
Funny when I saw his mugshot he looked like most of the gun nutters I have ever met. White, overweight, insecure, and inadequate ... and very, very angry.
Yeah, sure dude, like we totally believe you.

(9,951 posts)You know ALL the facts about this shooting before they are even disclosed. You should offer your services to the police. And CCW "all over the place" - you even know who is carrying concealed!

(19,497 posts)according to your rules where does that leave law enforcement?

(9,951 posts)BTW, in the eyes of the law, Zimmerman isn't a murderer, he was acquitted, remember?

(6,498 posts)I was cited as a supporter of Concealed Carry here in this forum, was I not?
This calls into question claims of support for their positions made by gunner types.

(16,974 posts)Since the court and a jury legally found it to be a defensive gun use. I tend to agree with our legal system. Welcome back from your latest vacation.

(6,498 posts)And for folks who disagree, calling the murder a Defensive Gun Use is more of a reflection on your own credibility than it is a reflection of reality.

(2,493 posts)That a guy who was acquitted is guilty of murder makes me question your grasp of reality. And that incident really has nothing to do with the 2d Amendment but instead turn on whether Florida's stand your ground law is a good law.

(6,498 posts)...I am a supporter of Concealed Carry.
One needs to read gunner claims with a critical eye.
They often run counter to reality.

(6,185 posts)After that blast of 4 hides in just a few days over his "family album" pix, I thought he might try and temper things a bit and try to stay afloat.
But he came back as angry and ignorant as ever.
He's literally a caricature of a gun grabber and with his elaborate stories about himself as a "hero", I think he's likely a sock puppet of one of our banned folk.

Freedom would include the first amendment where I can quote from both someone you may respect, like Einstein, as well as some sources you don't. And, while I applaud your interest and your ability to choose to disagree, I'll pass on another quote from one of the greatest minds the world has ever known.
Second, have a raspberry:

(12,194 posts)Likewise, when anti-gun advocates talk about victims of gun violence, please remember, that bloombergs groups counted the boston bombers as victims of gun violence, and none of the usual anti-gun mouthpieces so much as batted an eye.
