(17,692 posts)I try to work my way through my friends, relatives, loved ones that have passed and give them a virtual hug - maybe not every day but frequently enough that maybe they'll sense it.

(21,242 posts)He was a sharp shooter in the U.S. Army, enlisted after coming to this country from Ireland in 1956, the year I was born.
He has been gone six months ago to this day now.
My life has changed.
I am so sad and so alone now.
I'm not much enjoying any of this at all.
I'm glad to have my three cats, Silver, Andreas & Missy by my side.
Without them, I'd be lost.
Thank you again, all of you.
He needs a lot of good thoughts and prayers as his death was horrific to me.
