Something angered me today

I went to the local VA clinic, sat down in the waiting area. I noticed that someone had taped a picture of a convicted felon (you know who) over Biden's portrait.
No one else, patient or staff, was in the waiting room. I ripped it off and threw it in the trash.
On reflection, I should have asked for someone in management there and lodged a complaint. I may stop back in, in a day or two, and see if it has been replaced. I understand that display of presidential portraits in government buildings is a tradition, not a requirement, so griping about it may go nowhere with the local management. I live in a very red part of California.
I just wanted to vent and maybe alert others in this group to watch for these kinds of shenanigans.

I think that this practice was putting tRUMP's face over Biden's face is the orig. vandalism, so you fixed it correctly (Biden's face).

Good for you.

Someone from the orderly room replaced the Presidential photo in the chain of command display in the lobby. I found President Obama's photo in the desk drawer.

I still have it. I did my best to ignore the display after that...

Thank you!

When and if they do replace the photo and put the orange anus’ pic up have a sheet of plain paper with small “not my President” printed or some other remark and tape it over the fuckwads photo. Tape To be easily removed so you’re not damaging property.

Most VA facilities have cameras and wouldn’t recommend defacing govt property while

But what can they say, really.
It still just slays me that any veteran would vote for that guy, but many did. I don't know, it may have been put there by non-vet staff.
Thanks for the reply and rec.

was staggering. I’m a straight, white, cisgender male. But I’ve always been open about my support for equal rights, civil rights, and LGBTQ+ rights.

That didn’t sit well with my hyper-macho fellow tank crewmen. (This was the early 90’s.)

It wouldn’t surprise me in the least to discover that the worst of them, or maybe even most of them, are Trumpanzees.

It is important to fight back in every way possible. It’s especially galling someone felt the need to prematurely obey the orange felon by taping that picture up in the first place since President Biden has been a champion of veterans, and he respects them deeply whereas Mango Mussolini has dishonored them with multiple desecratory utterances, and his incoming bunch of goons want to target veterans’ health care for savage cuts. 🤬So keep fighting back and do register your rightful outrage so they don’t think they have free rein to run roughshod over good people such as yourself! 🙌🏼

Trump becomes president Jan 20 2025. Trumps picture was a desecration since he is not president until Jan 20 2025.
