Had another great appointment with my new Oak Street NP
This guy is a treasure. He does everything he can to help me relax. He remembers so much of the non-medically related things we talked about. Today he asked for a recommendation of a good Welsh writer. Of course I immediately mentioned Dylan Thomas but should have included Emlyn Williams.
Also got my flu and covid vaccinations. Unless something comes up, I won't be seeing him this time, next year.
Until I was assigned to him, I dreaded every appointment and never left that appointment feeling optimistic. I'd come straight home and go to bed. It is amazing what a difference it makes to have a truly caring individual monitoring my health.

An important factor, how you feel after you've been. Glad it went well and that the new med profile is helping too. Hopefully you'll be leaving the bad stuff behind.
