Related: About this forumI just got something kind of cool from United Healthcare
Free sign up and registration, no further cost. They are sending me a sealed Tamiflu dose for flu, and a Covid-19 test, along with a thermometer. They are providing a number for a physician to call to discuss symptoms before using either the Tamiflu or the CV test.
I received the information in the mail. Has anyone else gotten this notice? (I use UHC for my Medicare Advantage)

(9,605 posts)I just registered online, and the package of stuff is to be rec'd in 5 to 10 days. I'll let you know when it arrives.
I've thought about switching, too. I pay $26 /mo in premiums (it's mostly for prescrlption benefits, I guess) but no copay to primary care doc - $30 copay for specialists. I paid about $800 out of pocket this year, but I've got COPD, heart failure, and other ailments, so over all, that's not bad. Haven't found anything better. Let me know if you do, though.
