The Gate to Women's Country by Sheri S Tepper

I read this book years ago, and I think it's worth a re-read now. It's about a dystopian future society where male-female roles are rigidly set, but things may not be quite what they seem. It's an interesting approach. I usually love Sheri Tepper anyway.

The main branch of my local library has it, so I put it on hold meaning they'll fetch if off the shelf and bring it to my nearby branch where I'll pick it up in a day or two. I so love being able to do that via the internet.

Even audiobooks, if you're into that.

not a Hoopla one.

I have read a couple of books with Hoopla, but reading a book on a screen just doesn't cut it for me. I very much prefer real books.

I did recently inherit a Kindle Fire, and I've got a couple of books on it, but I'm not at all in the habit of using it. Next time I go on a cruise I'll load a bunch of books on it and see how I like it.
