5 MYSTERIES THAT WILL KEEP YOU COZY DURING WINTER

https://crimereads.com/5-mysteries-that-will-keep-you-cozy-during-winter/

The holidays are over and now the real drudge of winter is upon us. At least for those of us living in the northern climates. For me, a native Wisconsinite, I look forward to having a stack of great books to help keep me occupied during the long winter months. There’s nothing better than curling up near the fire with a great mystery while the snow piles up outside. But where to start when there are so many great books to choose from?

As all mystery readers know, there are many diverse categories of cozy mysteries. I thought I would pick one book from each of my favorite genres to share with you today. These are all great stories that are sure to entertain the most voracious cozy mystery reader. I hope you find something here of interest!

More at link. The 5 categories are: amateur sleuth, culinary, paranormal, international, and a crafter cozy.

Enjoy!

The stories take place at a tourist town on the Western Coast of Michigan, the "fruit belt" where there are many farms raising fruits. The heroine, Marlee Jacob (her mother, an English Ph.D candidate at the time of her labor around Christmas, loved Dickens) is the owner of a Berry Basket store which sells everything made of berries.

It is amazing how many different kind of berries there are.

So far, the first three books take place in the summer during different festivals and our heroine "manages" to find bodied and get involved in solving the crime.

In the second book Marlee got to adopt a parrot with a rich vocabulary, the favorite is the Beach Boys ba-ba-ba-ra..

I really enjoy their dialogues: "give me a kiss," "give me a cashew" and others.

Many characters that are believable and lovable.
