Rue McClanahan told it to Betty White on a break on the set.
A man is shipwrecked on an island with a dog and a pig. After a month or so, the man starts thinking the pig is looking pretty good. So he starts petting the pig, stroking her. The dog is jealous and attacks the guy, growling, snarling. The guy gives up, frustrated. He tries again a couple times and the dog always gets jealous and agressive. Another month passes, and a beautiful woman is shipwrecked on the same island. As she approaches the guy's shelter and sees the pig and the dog, she asks if she can do anything to help. The guy looks at her, and says, "Yah. Can you hold that dog?"
Ms. McClanahan told it so well and watching her and Ms. White laughing added so much to this silly joke. lol
