Out of the Blue

Spontaneous rambling
Words float in from the air
No topic, no direction
Just words, useless words
Not sure what to do with them
In my morning confusion
Another cup of coffee
Will not put them in place
To express thoughts grandiose
Or even relevant
Just words, stupid words
Spewed forth at random
Doubt on a string
A necklace of dumb
Out of the blue
On awakening.
