Won the 1st set in a tie break, lost 2nd set, and just got broken in the early 3rd against the #5th seed Medvedev. Not looking very good for him. I guess Medvedev won the first 6 times theyve played, but Sinner has won the last 5.
Now, on ESPN2 American Tommy Paul the #12 seed is playing the #3 seed, Carlos Alcaraz. Good luck Tommy, so far holding his own, but Carlos is a gawd on all surfaces
won Wimbledon last year.

(32,330 posts)Might have needed some salt the talking heads said cant really tell if hes not feeling the best. Seems ok now will have to wait and see. They had a 34 ball rally in the first set .34 back and forth rally, wow.

(32,330 posts)I think the crowd is behind Sinner too .. funny how over time and circumstances a match can change .and shoot I have to leave for an appointment. Darn it. Will DVR it, it it isnt the same as watching live.
