(16,582 posts)2. Question from someone who doesn't know all the ways which baseball numbers are parsed...:
does "stealing home" necessitate that the pitcher either threw the ball to the catcher as a pitch, or did nothing...
or does stealing home include advancing from 3rd to home while the pitcher is trying to pick off a runner (excluding errors, of course)?
