Maybe a team from a solid blue state won? Unfortunately Florida isn’t there yet.

The perplexing thing is that Florida has two types of people economically, those that are well off and those that are barely getting by. Wages are fairly low for blue-collar workers and there are tons of one or two person operations that are barely getting by. I truly believe that if Florida became a tech hotbed like California, or a Banking hotbed like North Carolina, or a developing technology hotbed like Virginia, the state would become solidly blue. I could go on for ages on this point, but your post is a sports post.

Congrats Dodgers, after the recent ways in which the team lost World Series, a well deserved win.
