We know why, of course. Tough luck, school kids. And adults who start work at sunrise. Networks and MLB dont give a damn.

On a Monday. Of course that was 1978.

It is the Postseason. "Playoffs" are for the NFL, MBA and NHL. In baseball it's called a Play In game or a One Game series.
And WTF do you care about what time it is? You're in PDT. You and Boston get going an hour later than the rest of the country (e.g. local news and work hours).
