No more 'bullpens?' PETA urges MLB to change name, suggests new moniker for warm-up area
PETA clearly believes that the bullpen is bad.
The animal rights group (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) released a statement on Thursday, asking for the staging area for MLB relief pitchers to be renamed from "bullpen" to "arm barn" to try to remove what the group feels is a negative connotation to the warm-up area.

Sounds like a term my now-deceased mother would've used while briefly watching sports with the rest of the family.
She always called the managers/coaches "boss man" too.

Sorry, I've always been against cruelty towards animals, but I've never been impressed with PETA.
