Mostly, the "complaints" are details. One suggested the clock be 17 seconds instead of 15. One said 18 seconds if nobody is on. One said each team should get one clock restart per half inning. That sort of thing.
Hardly anybody had a negative about the ban of the shift. The 2 I recall were both from pitchers, who are now giving up more hits.
But in general, the critiques were details not rejection of the ideas.
There's 1 more hit per 60 at-bats, and 1.3 more runs per game, in a half-hour less time. I'm enjoying the pace of play being closer to what I grew up with.
