(37,059 posts)3. They get very aggressive when the goslings hatch. I got too close to one on the bike train last
year and one took flight and hit me in the head nearly wrecking me. There are hundreds of them on the trail along
the Ohio River and sometimes they refuse to move. I saw one last year she had 17 goslings. Do they have that many or
was she running a day care buisiness?
A friend in S Carolina just posted pics of goose family today; they have 6.
Past years here, I've seen about 6 in my yard. Waiting now, and I won't be close enough for confrontations.
