7. Buffleheads are a variety of duck. maybe more in a few days.

BUT some geese wandered in!!!

8. Looks like a possible Barrow's Goldeneye

In pic #2. The white crescent on the cheek is usually the giveaway with those guys…as opposed to the Common Goldeneye which has a more round white patch. The Barrow’s will have a purplish head in the sunlight.

I LOVE buffleheads! They’re just the cutest dang things. For a diver duck, they can take off of the water without a lot of space because they’re so small. Most divers need some more real estate to pull that off.
