He had a fat lead. Why didn't he just run the ball every time and snap it at 38-40 seconds on the play clock. They had 4 possessions of just about a minute. Those would have been 4 possessions of just over 2 minutes. $ minutes that they would have taken off the clock. The Vikings tied the game with 13 seconds left.
But we didn't play conservatively. No you made bad decisions by throwing the ball, which stopped the clock, which gave the Vikings time to score more points, and sent you to defeat.
