Pulling for Rams for Suburb Owl. Still like Stafford.

(25,901 posts)does Stafford retire? I think so. But if the Rams fall short of a Super Bowl, does Stafford come back next year? I'm not sure.

(12,648 posts)Matthew is playing because the alternative is at home with 5 girls, needs his guy time. Yes its kinda wrong,
I think hell play till he drops.

(195,090 posts)Packers @ Bears and Niners @ Eagles
Im rooting for Da Bears. I like both teams but Caleb is as advertised. Hes impromptu and can flick it like Mahomes. Fun to watch.
The Niners can put up a lot of points. The Iggles have scored more than 20 only 3 times since their bye week (9 games) - 2 of those were against the Raiders and DC. They mustered 21 in a loss to Dallas. All 3 of those defenses could suck-start a Harley. They also have only given up 20+ 3 times in the same span. If its a grind - Philly. If its not - SF.
Today Charlotte looks mostly dry but rain and thunder will be near. Chicago is going to be cold and windy (16MPH) at game time

(32,910 posts)I was posting threads on games for the entire NFL season about 15 years ago in the Sports forum. Did it for several years.
Favorite / Spread / Underdog (Home team in CAPS)
L.A. Rams / 10.5 / CAROLINA
Green Bay / 1.5 / CHICAGO
Buffalo / 1 / JACKSONVILLE
PHILADELPHIA / 5.5 / San Francisco
NEW ENGLAND / 3.5 / L.A. Chargers
Houston / 3 / PITTSBURGH
------------------------
I'll take all the favorites to beat the spread except for the Rams. They'll win the game but 10 1/2 pts is too much to give IMO.

(25,910 posts)We have that history with them plus Jags D is ferocious.

(25,910 posts)I think 49ers take the Eagles and I'm praying for a miracle and Steelers punch Houston in the mouth and win!
I'm a Jaguars fan and a 2ndary 49ers fan and HATE Houston.

(32,910 posts)plus, Vic Fangio owns Kyle Shanahan. I expect a bloodbath and a big Philly win.

(909 posts)I discovered as a young adult that I really like gambling, so I don't do it. I enjoy predicting football games (badly), but I would never put money on it. I am very happy I was wrong about the Packers winning.
