Having some success running Windows games in Ubuntu Linux. (oops - misspelling fixed)

After tinkering with getting a couple Windows games to work in Ubuntu with WINE and getting a bit frustrated, I finally checked out the trial version of CrossOver and got WOW and Wizard101 working within minutes. I think it got Diablo III working - it gets as far as the authentication error during login that I often got under Windows - but then I remembered people got BANNED for running Diablo III under Linux! oh well, no harm no foul? anyway, CrossOver does either all, or the vast majority of, the fussy tinkering for you that you'd normally have to do to get these games working with WINE.
